Check site settings- When you are using YouTube on Google Chrome, you need to check for the settings under Chrome settings. To check, follow the steps:

  • For the proper working of YouTube, Javascript must be enabled.
  • Also check the sound option and toggle it to ON.

Check Proxy settings- The improper working of YouTube might be due to the proxy settings on your system. Follow the steps to restore the proxy setting:

  • In Chrome, go to System settings.
  • In the Proxy settings, click on Disable button.
  • After this, you can try opening YouTube to check if it is working fine.

Update Graphics Driver- If you see black or green screen while using YouTube, you need to check your graphic drivers If out-dated, you can update it as follows:

  • Press Windows+R on Windows OS. Type and enter devmgmt.msc.
  • Click on display Adaptors and right-click on the sub-menu options.
  • Then, search and update the graphic driver.

Update date, time and region- In some cases, the incorrect date and time are responsible for the issue, So, update and keep it automatic.
