Start MS Word in Safe Mode

  • In your PC or laptop, press & hold the Ctrl key and simultaneously hit the Word shortcut icon.
  • Select yes from the “Word safe mode” launch window and then scroll to the File menu after it is launched.
  • Now, choose Options from the bottom of the left sidebar and then select Add-ins.
  • Hereafter, look for the Manage dropdown menu, then select Go option available next to it and then uncheck all the add-ins.
  • Now, hit the Ok button and then relaunch the MS Word in the normal mode.
  • Try to Repair The MS Office Suite

Avoid persistent connections:

  • If any mapped drive is connected then the user needs to uncheck the box that reconnects at login.
  • After unchecking this box, any mapped drive will not be connected automatically when the user starts the computer.

Get it repair Via Control Panel

  • In your PC, Open Control Panel, then select Uninstall a program, and then select Microsoft Office.
  • Now, click on Change and then select Quick Repair.
  • Click Repair and if repair is not doe, then select Online Repair.
