Try Launching MS Word In Safe Mode

  • In your PC or laptop, press & hold the Ctrl key and simultaneously hit the Word shortcut icon.
  • Select yes from the “Word safe mode” launch window and then scroll to the File menu after it is launched.
  • Now, choose Options from the bottom of the left sidebar and then select Add-ins.
  • Hereafter, look for the Manage dropdown menu, then select Go option available next to it and then uncheck all the add-ins
  • Now, hit the Ok button and then relaunch the MS Word in the normal mode.

Via Control Panel

  • In your PC, Open Control Panel, then select Uninstall a the program, and then select Microsoft Office.

Via Windows Settings

  • In your PC, launch Settings app, then select Apps.
  • Look for Microsoft Office and select it, and then click Modify.
  • Now, select the Quick Repair option and let the repair process begin.
