Resolve Issue Of Hotmail Mobile Verification Security Code Not Received

Hotmail Mobile Verification Codes is the code that is sent to the user when the user processes Hotmail account recovery. However, there might be some a reason due to which the user is unable to receive Hotmail verification. Some of the reasons are being mentioned here due to which the user is unable to receive the code:

1. Network issue in a registered phone number.
2. The phone number provided on the page is invalid.
3. Security code time limit has expired and is invalid.

Check if there are any one of the above-mentioned issues in your account. If it is, then, try the following troubleshooting methods to correct the issues:

• For network issue in a registered phone number: If you are using mobile data, then, check if mobile data is turned on, if it is and still you are unable to receive data, then, switch off and switch on data. If it does not work, then, power off and power on mobile data.

• If it shows phone number provided on the page is invalid, then, check if you are providing the right number on the page. There is only one possibility for this number to be wrong that the user enters the wrong number.

•If security code time limit has expired, then, there could be the reason that time limit to receive the code has exceeded, so, you are required to resend it.

The above-mentioned steps provide the solution to issues due to which Hotmail mobile verification security code not received by the user.

1.         A user has to visit the Security basics page of the Hotmail account.
2.         Sign into the Hotmail account with the username and password.

6.         In the next step, the user should go through the on-screen menu.
